Route of Line Sheets are written up primarily to guide a coach Operator along a given route.
ROLS are divided into three parts. The first section lists, by direction, all the turning movements of a regular route from one terminal point to the other. an alternate route is listed in a similar fashion after the regular route. The alternate route is then followed by weekend routings, short turns, turnaround loops, notes and the destination sign instructions.
The second part consists of the map page.
Pull In/Pull Out (PIPO) routes and off routes (O/R) are shown in the third section. However, for a multi-division line, the PIPO routes and O/R are shown on separate pages by division.
